The Library is based at the Education Centre at Royal Bolton Hospital and supports all staff and students working across the Trust.

There is a print collection of titles supporting multidisciplinary areas relating to the medical, nursing, and associated health professional roles and a range of study areas including a PC room and meeting pod. Access is available 24/7 to the Library collections.

Digital collections include access to NHS Knowledge and Library Hub. The Trust also subscribes to the evidence-based decision making tool Up to Date. Other clinical and evidence decision making tools include BMJ Best Practice and the Royal Marsden Manual and databases such as CINAHL, Cochrane Library and Medline. These resources are available to access anytime anywhere with an Open Athens account which the Library can provide.
