Bolton NHS Foundation Trust’s Occupational Health team have been highly accredited by the Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS).
The accreditation means that Bolton’s Occupational Health offer for its staff is recognised at the highest level by the industry standard for occupational health services.
SEQOHS assess how well organisations meet the occupational health needs of its staff and use good practice to do so.
Their report stated:
The service has strong leadership and has developed a comprehensive, high quality service in a relatively short time frame.
“Their commitment to continuous improvement has been clearly demonstrated and we have no hesitation in recommending them for SEQOHS accreditation.
“The service should be congratulated on the quality of their Occupational Health Policies which are clear, concise and comprehensive, and on the helpful tool box talk materials that they have produced for a client.
The report did not give any recommendations or actions for improvements.

“They have gone above and beyond, working in a challenging time but still have maintained high standards of care to staff throughout.
“The accreditation shows that the service we deliver for our staff is of a high standard, which in turns helps to ensure the care our staff provide for our patients is excellent.
