Bolton NHS Foundation Trust’s Finance Team has been named Finance Team of the Year at the 2023 Healthcare Financial Management Association North West conference.

The award recognises the contribution that the finance team has made in the last twelve months to promoting and improving teamwork, innovation, collaboration, wellbeing and inclusion.

The finance team often works behind-the-scenes with staff and suppliers, and are also involved in major improvement projects across the organisation, including implement new and existing technologies.

Karl Jones, Associate Director of Finance at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust, said:

Our finance department work extremely hard and I’m incredibly proud that their work has not gone unnoticed in the industry.

“We are an innovative team, working to the highest standard, and we like to be at the forefront of all new projects and ways of working within the organisation.
