Student AHP Recruitment Event – 3rd February 2024
Do you aspire to be an Allied Health Professional making a difference to people’s lives? If so, we would like to invite you to our Bolton NHS Foundation Trust Student AHP Recruitment Event.
We’re excited to gather at our Education Centre, located at the Royal Bolton Hospital. It’s going to be an amazing opportunity to connect with fellow students and have the opportunity to network with some of our amazing teams across the trust!
Come join us for a fun-filled day on Saturday 3rd February 2024 at 10:00am, when a member of the trust’s AHP team will open this exciting Recruitment Event at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust.
If you have a passion for delivering outstanding care and making a positive difference to the lives of the people in your care, then we want to hear from you!
This event is a great opportunity for 3rd year students and those looking for a Band 5 post in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Dietetics or Podiatry to learn about the various career paths available and how we can support you here at Bolton to start your career.
The day will consist of 3 key activities:
- Stands
- Find out more and discuss our current AHP opportunities across a number of specialties, such as, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language and Dietetics.
- Presentations
- Alongside our stands, you will hear from a number of key speakers across numerous specialties;
- 10.10-10.30 – Applying to Bolton NHS Foundation Trust
- 10.45-11 – Podiatry at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust
- 11.15-11.30 – Occupational Therapy, Band 5 Rotations at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust
- 11.45-12 – Physiotherapy, Band 5 Rotations at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust
- 12.10-12.30 – Applying to Bolton NHS Foundation Trust
- Alongside our stands, you will hear from a number of key speakers across numerous specialties;
- Mock Interviews
- Practice makes perfect! On the day we will give you the chance to practise your job interview technique and prepare your answers.

We’re excited to be hosting our first Student AHP Recruitment Day of 2024. Come along and learn about everything you need to start or take the next step into healthcare, gain valuable insight from others who work here at Bolton, and find out about the wealth of job opportunities available.
You will get the opportunity to participate in informative workshops and presentations with guest speakers that will help you gain a better understanding of what Bolton has to offer to staff & service users.
No need to book or register for this event, just register on arrival. Parking is free for all students on the day.
