The Integrated Community Equipment Service (ICES) is jointly funded by Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Bolton Council.

The store provides equipment, following assessment by either named health or social care workers, for use in people’s homes to support health care or to promote independence. This service is provided seven days a week. The equipment includes beds, mattresses, walking aids, hoists, bathing aids, sensory equipment and telecare.

The service sits within the Independent Living Service (ILS) which also comprises of an assessment service to promote people’s independence and safety within the home.
